Liora Rez immigrated to America from the former Soviet Union as a small child with her family, escaping the horrors of socialism and antisemitism. Liora grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and proceeded to attend Brandeis University where she earned her B.S. in Neuroscience. She then obtained her M.B.A. and subsequently worked in structured finance for over a decade.
After becoming a mother, Liora switched her career focus to social media and in 2012 started the “Jewish Chick” brand. After growing a sizeable audience, Liora wanted to bring to the forefront the rise in antisemitism she was encountering in the social media space. With a group of like-minded individuals, she co-founded StopAntisemitism.org. in 2018.
StopAntisemitism.org works to hold antisemites accountable and to create consequences for their bigoted actions by exposing the threat that they present to all Americans and showing how their ideologies conflict with American values, morals, and principles. StopAntisemitism.org now reaches millions of people monthly.
